The wrangler works under the direction of the Horsemanship Coordinator & full-time Program Directors. They enforce the standard operating procedures of the corral and petting zoo areas during scheduled activity times such as skills classes, trail rides, & cabin activities times. They perform minor repairs, actively feed, clean, water, and care for animals, and maintain equipment.
You love Jesus. You trust the Bible as God's Word. And you don't just want a "summer job" where you punch in and punch out. You want to develop your skills, grow in your walk with Christ in an awesome community of peers who can support and encourage you.
If this brief overview has piqued your interest, then this summer on staff at Trout Lake Camps as a wrangler could be your summer job "fit".
When you join the Trout Lake Camps summer staff, our prayer is that you will grow spiritually in your walk with Jesus, your leadership will be sharper, & that you'll see a connection between your work and the work that God does in the lives of campers. Safe. Fun. Gospel. are the hallmarks of the Trout staff experience.
